Jason Ray Fortenberry, 51, a native of Tyler, Texas, and resident of Schriever, La., died at his home on Friday, March 4, 2016.
A graduate of the University of South Carolina, Mr. Fortenberry enjoyed the outdoors and hunting, gardening and cooking. He worked for BellSouth, and at various nursing homes, assisted living facilities and hospitals.
He is survived by his mother, Claudia (Joseph) McKay Zorn; father, Jack Fortenberry; brother, Joel (Shannon) Fortenberry (Shannon); sister Amy Taylor; stepsister, Hester (Ed) Serrano; stepbrother, William (Jenny) Zorn.
