Jimmie Jay “Jim” Blanchard, 82, a native of Pulaski, Iowa, and resident of Houma, La., died on Saturday, May 27, 2017.
Mr. Blanchard was known for his sense of humor and easygoing demeanor. He worked in the oil industry and was an avid model railroader in his spare time.
He is survived by his brother, Kent; sister, Suzanne; son, Jay; daughter, Vondalyn; and four grandchildren. Burial is at a later date. (Chauvin)
