Jimmie K. Franks, 79, a native of Jonesboro, Arkansas and a resident of Houma, Louisiana, died on Thursday, May 14, 2015.
Mr. Franks retired with a distinguished career as a Master Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force. He enjoyed riding his Harley Trike with his wife and eating seafood.
He is survived by his sons Larry Anthony (Trudy) Franks, James Kevin (Peggy) Franks; daughter Cheryl (Lance) Benson; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren Hailey; and sister Faye Williams.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jane Franks; parents, Charlie and Gertrude Franks; brothers Bill, Charles T., Bobby Ray and sisters, Dorothy, Haley and Margie.
Burial is at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Gray, Louisiana.
