Used car dealers say local market remains steady

Joel Thomas Cook Sr., 89, a native of Shreveport, La., and resident of Houma, La., died on Wednesday, October 19, 2016.
Mr. Cook was a United States Air Force veteran and retired from Halliburton after 34 years. He loved airplanes, fishing, making toys, and most of all spending time with family.
He is survived by his children, Kathleen Doucet, Patrica (Benny) Rhodes, Jeffery (Audra), Joel Jr. (Carrie), Dale (Mary) and Andrew (Ann) Cook and Amy (Timmy) Moore; 18 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Burial is at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Houma.
