Local faces at nation’s capital for historic Supreme Court moment (AUDIO INSIDE)

J. Carlton Allgood, 77, a native of Warrenton, N.C., and resident of Houma, La., died Monday, April 20, 2015.
Mr. Allgood was a deacon of First Baptist Church of Houma.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Desmares Allgood; son, Alan (Sheila) Allgood; daughter, Debbie (Richard) Hassan; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Donations in his memory to First Baptist Church of Houma are appreciated.
Burial is at Terrebonne Memorial Park.
