John “Old Dog” Charles Fitzgerald, 74, a native of Venice, La., and resident of Houma, La., died at 5:52 a.m. Friday, Oct. 23, 2015.
Mr. Fitgerald retired from Fitzgerald Inspection Inc. He was a 32 Degree Master Mason, Scottish Rites, and Shriner of Jerusalem. He was very supportive of local law enforcement agencies.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela Benoit Fitzgerald; sons, Michael (Diane) and Allan (Rushelle) Fitzgerald; daughter, Sheryl (Jerry) Buquet; stepson, Seth Rodriguez; stepdaughter, Candace (Danny) Rink; brothers, Robert (Waltraud), Danny (Jeanie) and Larry (Wendy) Fitzgerald; sisters, Ann (Cecil) Carter, Kim (Keith) Smith and Sandy Fitzgerald; six grandchildren; one step-grandchild; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Burial is at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
