Vet’s work ethic, community spirit will be missed

April 14, 2016John Pierce, 79, a lifelong resident of Houma, La., died on Saturday, April 9, 2016.
Visitation is today from 5 until 9 p.m. at Falgout Funeral Home of Houma, and beginning at 9 a.m. Thursday. The United Veterans League will conduct full military honors at the church at 10 a.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, with burial to follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery.
Mr. Pierce is survived by his sons, Mike and Todd (Lilandi) Pierce; daughter, Debbie Baker; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
