Johnnie Sweat-man, 88, a native of Chidester, Ark., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died at ll:45 p.m. on Tuesday, June 13,2017.
Mr. Sweatman lived in South Louisiana most of his life, where he built his business, Sweatman Chainsaw Company.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Judy Lee Stinnett; son Connie (Frankie) Sweatman; daughters, Sharon Bourgeois and Pamela Clay; brother, Charles Farr; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Burial is at Little Missouri Cemetery in Chidester.
