Mrs. Josie Falterman, 93, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Harrison, Ark., died on Friday, January 20, 2017.
Mrs. Falterman was a retired nurse, serving at Ellender Hospital and later Terrebonne General Medical Center. She enjoyed helping others, reading, sewing, cross stitching, singing and cooking, particularly her gumbo and chicken stew. She was a member of Annunziata Catholic Church.
She is survived by her son, Darrell (Debra) Falterman; daughters, Darlene (Donald) Coffman and Donna (Patrick) McManus; sister, Marie Gaston; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
Burial is at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2 in Houma.
