Joyce Frances Tipton, 84, a native of New Orleans and resident of Houma, La., died Tuesday, June 2, 2015.
She was a member of Harvest Cathedral Ministries. She was a loving mother, grandmother and cherished her dogs. Joyce loved the outdoors and was a shrimper, crochet and quilt maker and made custom dolls.
Mrs. Tipton is survived by her sons, Larry (Dena) Pitre, Jules (Deborah) Boquet and Willard (Roberta) Boquet; daughter, Barbara Pitre Wilson; 13 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made in memory of Joyce to the Messiah Montessori School in Houma.
Burial is at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. (Chauvin)
