Former captain pleads guilty to charges

Juliette M. Cheramie, 78, a native of Golden Meadow, La., and resident of Cut Off, La., died on August 27, 2016.
Mrs. Cheramie is survived by her husband, David Bennett; children, Wanda Theriot, Lettie (Donnie) Kennair, Carla (Danny) Butler, Eva Easterling, Janie (Wendy), David Jr. (Penny) and John Bennett; brothers, Terry Cheramie, George (Mary Lou), Michael (Kay) and Dennis Reed; sister, Debbie (Beth) Reed; 15 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
