Kathy F. Blanchard, 56, died Friday, Feb. 13, 2015, following a lengthy battle with cancer.
Mrs. Blanchard was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 3665 and the Daughters of the American Legion Post 349. She enjoyed being a homemaker. She was employed by Sealand Marine LLC in Houma as a senior purchasing agent, and was a recipient of the Best of Chouest award in October 2014.
Mrs. Blanchard is survived by her husband of 38 years, Keith Blanchard; children, Jude Blanchard, Hope (Matthew) LaForest; grandson, Hudson Michael LaForest; father, Hudson H. Foret; siblings, Jackie (James) Danos, Judy (Donald) Watts, Karen LeBlanc, Ralph Sr. (Carla) and Barry (Tana) Foret; and mother-in-law, Neddie B. Blanchard.
