Kaye “Nadine” Girlinghouse Thibodaux, 54, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 9:30 p.m. on Monday, October 17, 2016.


Ms. Thibodaux was a retired Terrebonne Parish teacher. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Jeremy (Brandi) Thibodaux; daughter, Kayela Thibodaux; step-daughter, Wendy Authement; sisters, Alma (Tilford) Trahan, Naomi (Robert) Guidry, Elizabeth (Mark) Lirette and Shirley (Ricky) LeCompte; eight grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Burial is at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2 in Houma.
