Lafourche Parish. Sheriff Craig Webre announced an Monday morning that a reward is being offered for any information which leads to the arrest of a man who committed a vehicle burglary in Galliano earlier this month.


On Aug. 4. 2016. deputies were called to a reported vehicle burglary cm West 152nd Street in Galliano.

Responding deputies on the scene learned that several items were stolen during the break-in including cash, prescription medication and sunglasses.

Surveillance video was available from the scene and authorities were able to get a lead cm a suspect.


Through video* officers observed a suspect commit a burglary an the vehicle at the home before leaving the area and fleeing the scene.

Based on the video,, authorities deem the suspect to be a white male in his 20s or 30s. Authorities estimate that he is roughly 510″ tall and that he weighs about 160 pounds. The suspect appears to be bald with tattoos on his right arm and upper chest.

In the video, he is wearing a white tank top. though officers say that he will likely be in different clothing on different occasions.


Deputies are asking for public assistance in this case.

Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers Bayou Region at 1-800-743-7433.

Tipsters can remain anonymous and information which leads to an arrest may net a $1,000 cash, reward.
