Lawrence LeBlanc, 78, a native of Crowley, La., and resident of Houma, La., died at 6:20 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24, 2016.
Mr. LeBlanc was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and was a Mason. He enjoyed woodcarving, nature and animals and lecturing about poisonous reptiles.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Barbara Ann Hebert LeBlanc; children, Lisa (Ricky) Landry, Mary (Michael) Morrison, Simon, Clair (Dennis) Talbot and Andrew (Jessica) LeBlanc Sr.; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and brothers, Dewey Jr. and Femis LeBlanc.
Burial is at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. (Chauvin)
