Leo Leger, 84, a native of St. Landry, La., and resident of Chauvin, La., died on Thursday, March 30, 2017.
Mr. Leger served in the United States Navy. He retired from Shell Oil after 35 years of service, then worked as a consultant for Antill Pipelines. He instilled religious beliefs to his family and was proud of his Catholic faith.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Barbara Buquet Leger; daughter, Terri Smith; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Burial is at St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery in Chauvin.
