Leonard Joseph Theriot, 68, a native and resident of Raceland, La., died on Thursday, September 8, 2016.
Mr. Theriot was a parishioner of St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church. He loved helping others and enjoyed woodworking, especially making furniture for his family. He cherished Cajun music and culture.
He is survived by his former wife Valerie Boudoin Theriot; sons, Shane (Shiho) and Brent (Michelle) Theriot; brothers, Philip (Mary Ann), David (Judy) and Kenneth (Gloria) Theriot; sister, Patricia (Richard) Compeaux; and two grandchildren.
Burial is at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church Cemetery in Raceland.
