Leroy J. Ledet, 79, a native and resident of Lockport, La., died on Thursday, March 24, 2016.
A U.S. Army veteran, Mr. Ledet was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus. He retired from the postal service and worked for the Town of Lockport. He enjoyed mornings at the Lockport Senior Center playing cards and swapping stories.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Dorothy “Dot” Bourgeois Ledet; son, Dennis (Missy) Ledet; daughter, Amy Ledet; brother, Stephen (Delta) Ledet; and six grandchildren.
Burial is at Holy Savior Catholic Church Cemetery.
