On Monday. April 15. 3019. Linda D. Guidry. 73, entered into her eternal home. the Kingdom of Heaven. As a life-long educator and retired principal, it was only fitting that she passed away at exactly 3:30 pin, a time signaling that the school day was done.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 39 years. Roy Guidry. and daughter Laurie Laine Coleman (Mike) and grandson Charlie, daughter Kristine Collins (Drew) and grandchildren Kanaan and Dru. She is also survived by her step-son Keith Guidry (Paula) and granddaughters Rachel and Ashley, step-daughter Lillie Taupe and step-grandchildren Roxie and Lee. and several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Linda served as an inspiration and example to a plethora of people as her life was a testament to the goodness and grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. Even though she faced much adversity in life and her health was problematic for many years, she showed tremendous fortitude and will; she worked hard to be an gnu Ting wife, mother; grandmother, aunt, friend, mentor, and educator. She has always credited these abilities to her unwavering faith. As an educator, she showed compassion and care to thousands of children over the years.
This faith can he summed up in the following scripture: Proverbs 3: 5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path.”
