The pantry is bare and Hope Extreme is looking to the community they support for donations. The most pressing needs include: snacks, paper towels, plastic cups, paper products, trash bags and Sam’s gift cards. Join Houma-Terrebonne Chamber of Commerce for its annual celebratory banquet. Attendees enjoy a dinner, drinks and entertainment. The Chamber’s newly installed officers, outgoing officers and board members are recognized, along with a host of other awards. Keynote speaker is Phil Roop, international inspirational and motivational speaker. Tickets are available online and must be purchased in advance.

KIDS COOKING CLASS WITH CHEF SALLY
Rouses Markets will be hosting a cooking class at their Thibodaux location. This month, children ages 5 – 14 will learn how to make Sloppy Joe Sliders and decorate their own Mini King Cake. Each child will have the option to enjoy their delicious creations or take them home to enjoy later. They will also be sent home with a recipe to make the Sloppy Joe Sliders. Space is limited.
