February 7, 2019Lucille Gaubert Tyler, a native and resident of Thibodaux, passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at the age of 69.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Carl Tyler; children, Angela Clifton (Curtis), Karl Tyler (Kim), Garland Tyler (Becca), Michelle Flanagan (Thomas), Greg Tyler (Irene) and Rebecca Richard; grandchildren, Chasity, Heidi, Sha-lee, Sha-la, Jenae, Travis, Garrett, Gavin, Austin, Emaleigh, Leah, Angel, Paige, GJ, Gabriel, Trey, and Mackenzie; 29 great-grandchildren; and siblings, James Gaubert and Tammie Gaubert.
Lucille was a founder and pastor’s wife of Emmanuel Christian Fellowship Church. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother who took great joy in serving the Lord. Lucille can be described as a very selfless woman who loved teaching her family how to carry on family traditions. She never met a stranger and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
