Margie Gardner Lee, 89, a native of Nederland, TX and longtime resident of Houma, passed away on Friday, October 19, 2018, surrounded by family.
Margie is survived by her five children: Linda (Hunt) Downer of Houma; Charles (Mariann) Lee of Houston, TX; Donna Theriot of Houma; Arthur “Skippy” (Connie) Lee of Lafayette; and Van “Edwin” (Carol) Lee of Baton Rouge. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Margie loved being surrounded by family and friends. Her home was always filled with laughter. She enjoyed working on various craft projects, particularly cross-stitch.
The family wishes to thank the Terrebonne Parish Council on Aging, Chateau Terrebonne and a special thanks to the doctors and staff at Terrebonne General Medical Center.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Margie’s name to the Louis Infant Crisis Center.
