Marjorie D. Cheramie, 89, a native of Galliano, La., and resident ofLockport, La., died Wednesday, July 15, 2015.
Mrs. Cheramie was a member of the Ladies Altar Society, the St. Joseph’s Altar, Catholic Daughters and loved going to casinos and travelling across the United States and Canada. She worked for more than 25 years for the Lafourche Parish School Board.
She is survived by her son, Ashton (Lynn) Cheramie; daughter, Phyllis (Daniel) Lafont; and two grandchildren.
