Mary Mae “Granny” Brunet, 93, a native and resident of Chauvin, La., died on Friday, April 7, 2017.
Mrs. Brunet was a member of the St. Joseph Lady’s Altar Society and bowled in several leagues. She enjoyed planting flowers and cooking was her passion. She also enjoyed telling stories and watching the Price is Right, Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune.
She is survived by her daughters, Patricia (Francis) Verret, Genevieve (John) Voisin, Doris (Allen) Punch and Geraldine (Thomas) Hargroves; son, Joseph (Christine) Brunet; 21 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Burial is at St. Elie Cemetery.
