Grand Caillou native takes fisheries post

Mary Lirette Hardy, 85, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died peacefully on Sunday, June 5, 2016.
Mrs. Hardy is survived by her daughters, Carol (Mike) Ledet, Debra (Michael) Hawkesworth and Paula (David) Berger; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
Burial is at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. (Thibodaux)
