Mary Jane Pitre, 61, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Cut Off, La., died on Saturday, December 3, 2016.
Mrs. Pitre worked in the Lafourche Parish School System for 21 years.
She is survived by her husband, Edward “Joe” Pitre; daughters, Jessica and Rebecca Pitre; father, Ralph (Betty) Newman; brother, Michael (Nancy) Trout; sister, Martha Jo (Bill) Reddick; and godchild, Mary Jo Reddick.
Burial is at Community Bible Mausoleum in Cut Off.
