Mary Alice Armond Swofford, 82, a lifelong resident of Terre-bonne Parish, died on Friday, December 29, 2017.

Mrs. Swofford is survived by her husband of thirty-six years, Glenn Swofford; sons, Nathan and Sylvia Boudreaux and Eddie Boudreaux; daughters, Cindy and husband Kendall Gilmer, and Darlene and husband David Chapman: brother, Whitney Jr. and wife Janice Armond; grandchildren, Joey and Ami Babi, Jessica and Casey Naquin, Kendall Jr.. Christopher, and Jacob Gilmer, and Eddie Boudreaux Jr.; great-grandchildren, Jos-lyn, Brennon, Lyndi, and Micah Babin, Casey Jr., Zoe, and Corey, Ashton Naquin, and Baby Naquin on the way, Ella and Amelia Gilmer, Tyrone, Tyra, and Joseph Henderson; great-great-grandson, Ian Henderson. She is also survived by her best friends, Ruth Oubre and Jewel Babin.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was loved by her family dearly and will be missed. Delmae worked as a bookkeeper before meeting the love of her life, Roy Breerwood. They had a blessed 66 years together and are now reunited in Heaven with their Heavenly Father. She was a member of The Houma Knight Twirlers Square Dance Club, The Houma Oil Wives, The HARC Duplicate Bridge Club, and YMCA. She achieved the status of Life Master with the International Bridge Association.
