Marynel Coden

Marynel McCan Coden, 88, a native of Monroe, La., longtime resident of Houma, La., and current resident of Hodge, La., died on Sunday, April 17, 2016.

Mrs. Coden grew up in New Orleans, La., and was a USO representative. She enjoyed sewing.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary (Clark) Labat; twin sister, Mariandell Hennigan, who was also her devoted care giver, and sister, Sydnie Arnett; and nephew, Major Arnett.

Donation to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Society are appreciated.

Burial is at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. (Falgout)
