Mel Marie Sanders, 83, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 8:05 am. She was a native and a resident of Houma.
Mrs. Sanders is survived by her sons, James Paul Sanders, and Kevin Sanders and wife, Rachel; daughters, Christie S. Conrad, and Lisa S. Banks and husband, Jimmy; grandchildren, Nikki Thibodeaux, Stacie Bourg, Jamie Domangue, Deana Giordano, Caleb Sanders, Brian Lirette, Jared Ellithorp, John Rabun Jr., Sydney Rabun, Brock Sanders and Edie Sanders; 9 great-grandchildren.
She was retired from First National Bank of Houma. She enjoyed reading, spending time with family and was an avid Saints fan. She taught religion classes at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church.
