Mernelle Ann Dupre, 85, a native of Bourg and resident of Montegut, La., died at 6:55 p.m. on Friday, June 12, 2015.
Mrs. Dupre was a member of New Life Christian Ministry. She loved reading, gardening, crocheting, puzzles and being around her family along with helping others.
Mrs. Dupre is survived by her husband, Joseph Danis Dupre; sons, Lonnie (Christina “Chris”) P. Dupre and Rodney (Patty) P. Dupre; daughters, Peggy (Curtis) D. Dupre, Nancy (Rosario “Russ”) Dupre Guzzo, and Paula (Daniel) D. Hutcherson; brothers, Newton (Opal), Terry (Gloria), Alvin (Candy) and Danny (Gail) Blanchard; sisters, Delta Mae LeBoeuf, Gaynelle (Jeffery) Hutcherson, Sherry (Ronald) Boquet, and Donna Lee Brunet; 14 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Burial is at St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery. (Chauvin)
