Mildred Marie Talbot Melancon, 91, a native of Labadieville, La., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died peacefully at home at 6 a.m. Monday, April 6, 2015.
Mrs. Melancon retired from Nicholls State University as a housemother of Mead Hall.
She is survived by her son, Gary (Mary) Melancon; daughter, Geraldine (Gary) Eusea; six grandchildren;14 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. Burial in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery. (Landry’s Funeral Home)
