Millard Weston Molitor, 82, a native of Mamou, La., and resident of Houma, La., died at 9:15 a.m. Saturday, March 21, 2015.

Mr. Molitor was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. An avid fisherman, he owned and operated Molitor’s Charters. He also enjoyed reading; and loved his cats.


He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Gladys Barras Molitor; sons, Steven (Kristina), John (Vergenia) and Richard (Diana) Molitor; stepsons: Jimmy (Lisa) Dies, Lucas and Simon Fontenot; daughters: Margaret (Benjamin) Wilson, Elaine (Hoppy) Holley and Susan (John) Karlen; stepdaughters, Diane Breaux and Desi Posey; step-daughter-in-law, Lee Anne Dies; sister, Mary Goodwin; 13 grandchildren; 13 step-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and one on the way; 21 step-great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and one on the way.

Burial is at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
