Mona Raye Bergeron Deshaies, 64, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Metairie, La., died at 1:55 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19, 2016, at her home after battling cancer.
Mrs. Deshaies is survived by her husband, Thomas Patrick Deshaies; son, Roland Eskind Jr.; daughters, Penny (John) Bourg, Elizabeth Castilaw, Brandie (Nathan Jr.) Tabor, Kiley (Benjamin) Griffin, Kami Ann Bergeron and Katie (Matt) Naquin; stepdaughters, Priscilla (Wayne) Wahl and Melinda Deshaies; brothers, Gilford and Jesse (Karen) Bergeron Sr.; sisters, Suzanne (Mitch) Ledet and Syndney (Herb Sr.) Gros; 16 grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
