Morris Cortez, 71, a native and resident of Choctaw, La., died on Thursday, March 31, 2016.
Mr. Cortez is survived by his wife, Alsida Hebert Cortez; children, Lisa (Roy Jr.)
Naquin and Faron (Stephanie) Cortez; and eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and siblings, Delores Lester, Clarence Cortez Sr. and Birdine Tabor.
Burial is at St. James Chapel Cemetery in Choctaw. (Thibodaux Funeral Home)
