Nelson P. Guillot, 88, a native of Gheens and resident of Raceland, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2018.
Nelson is survived by his son, Bruce Guillot (Velma); daughter, Sally Bourgeois (Wayne Landry); brothers, Melvin, Denny and Ronnie Guillot; sister, Delores St. Pierre; grandchildren, Laura Schouest, Brooke Guillot and David Bourgeois; and great-grandchildren, Isabelle, Caroline and Samuel Schouest.
Nelson was a member of Knights of Columbus Council #4761 (3rd Degree), Past Commander of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3665, American Legion Post #349 and United Veterans League. Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Nelson served in Army in Korean War.
