Norman J “T-Nu” or “Stormin’ Norman” Cenac, 78, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 2:58 p.m. on Monday December 5, 2016.


Mr. Cenac was a member of the National Guard, Army Reserve and a parishioner of First United Methodist Church. He worked in the oilfield for Halliburton and B.J. Services. His favorite thing in life was making home cooked meals for his family gatherings.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Rebecca Cenac; son, Ryan (Tammy) Cenac; daughters, LaTina (late husband Clayton) Page and Cheri (Ted) Ortiz; brothers, Ronald (Pat) and Kenneth (Larke) Cenac; sisters, Eva (Donald) Malbrough and Melanie (Byron) Bourg; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Burial is at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2 in Houma.
