It’s arguably the biggest party in Louisiana. The International Grand Isle Tarpon Rodeo rolled through this weekend in Grand Isle and folks who organized the event said it was a success. Check out these submitted photos showing the weekend’s sights.


An overhead shot shows the jam-packed parking lot at Sand Dollar Marina, but also Louisiana’s gorgeous blue sky in the horizon. Many estimate more than 30,000 people visit Grand Isle throughout the rodeo. Many business owners on the island said that they generate upwards of 40 percent of their annual income in the three-day stretch.
