Best thing about baseball?

I love to do just about everything in baseball. I like to hit. I like to pitch. I like to field. I enjoy just about everything about the sport. Baseball is a game that I really have fun playing with my friends.

Best thing about football?

I come from a family of kickers, so anytime that I get a chance to take the field to help my team score points, it’s something that I’m excited about. Kickers don’t always get appreciated, so I like to help my team score.

Favorite baseball player:

Babe Ruth

Why?

I just like the way that he played. The other team knew that he was a good hitter, but he still was able to help his team win. Plus, he was a hitter and a pitcher both. That’s pretty cool.

Your big brother, father and uncle are kickers, right?

Yes Sir.

What’s it like coming from a family with that legacy?

Everyone in my family plays sports. That’s what we do. We all love and enjoy playing in sports.

Favorite sport between football and baseball:

Baseball

Why?

Because I just enjoy everything about it. I like all aspects of the game and I enjoy that I can do it with so many of my friends.

Future plans:

I want to grow up and continue to be a two-sport athlete. I want to play high school baseball and also prep football. I am a good kicker for my age already, but I keep getting better and better. I’d love to kick at high school like my brother Ryan.

Credentials:

Young Peyton Domangue has big shoes to fill. His brother Ryan is a college athlete and his family has produced an NFL kicker. But if early indications say anything at all, it’s that Domangue is going to continue in his family’s legacy. Young Peyton is a standout in both baseball and football, enjoying success in both sports. When asked to pick one sport over the other, he touted that baseball is his favorite. But he’s gifted at both and looks to be a name to keep an eye on in the future throughout Terrebonne Parish.
