January 19, 2018A 24-year-old Houma man is in custody of the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office after he allegedly rented out a hotel room to sleep with a 16-year-old girl.
On Jan. 9, 2018, detectives received information that a 16-year-old minor was at a hocal hotel with Patrick Bingham, 24, of Houma.
Authorities learned that the two were having sexual relations at the business.
Patrol deputies went to the Economy Inn Hotel in Houma and located the girl and Bingham, taking him into custody to continue the investigation.
During investigation, detectives located a cell phone that contained evidence of a sexual encounter that was video recorded, which led to Bingham’s arrest.
He is charged with carnal knowledge of a juvenile and pornography with a juvenile.
He is held on a $10,000 bond.
