David is a two-sport standout for the Trojans. He is an All-District receiver for the school’s football team, and he is also a dynamic, versatile post player for the basketball team.


Strengths:

On the football field, Robinson is dominant because of his elite athletic ability. He’s able to run past defenders while also using his length and jumping ability to snag the ball out of the air at its highest point. On the basketball hardwood, Robinson is a fundamental player. He is a quality rebounder, but he also has the ability to finish at the rim. He owns a plus-level mid-range game, which makes him tough to guard.

Plans for the rest of the season?


Try and win the district championship and make a run in the playoffs.

What does his coach think?

“David is a hard worker. He’s one of the leaders on our team. We, obviously, like to take advantage of his athleticism and we do a lot of things to get him the ball down the field.”

Central Lafourche junior David Robinson is a Jack of all trades for the Trojans athletic department. On the football field, Robinson is a long, lanky receiver – one of the best in the area. He’s being recruited at the next level for his productivity on the field. On the hardwood, Robinson is good, as well, possessing an All-District skillset for the Trojans team.
