Brannon Lee

SOUTH LAFOURCHE • FOOTBALL, BOWLING

Name: Brannon Lee

Height: 5’10

School: I attend South Lafourche High School

Grade: I’m a senior. I am graduating in May.

Sports: I was a starting kicker and punter for our football team, but I also am an active member of our bowling team at school, as well.

Strengths: Precision and a powerful leg that allows his team to control field position.

Best high school memory: That’s an easy one for me. It was when I made a big, late field goal against Assumption to give our team the lead in a game that had the district title on the line. As soon as I hit it, I knew it was good. I had no doubts. The crowd was going nuts, and that was far and away one of the best moments of my entire playing career.

High point of 2015 season:

Lee was the special teams specialist for a South Lafourche team that won their way into the Class 4A State Playoffs. He got hot down the stretch of the season and was one of the most reliable specialists on the team.

Secret talent:

I take pride in being a really good bowler. I can bowl 200 games pretty regularly when I am in a groove. That’s something not a lot of people know.

What do his coach says?

“Brannon was a huge weapon for us on the field, but off it, he was just an excellent kid. He’s a role model student and someone we really enjoyed having.”

-Dennis Skains

Credentials: South Lafourche senior Brannon Lee is one heck of an athlete – just in unconventional ways. Lee is a standout kicker for the Tarpons football team, possessing a right leg that is one of the most powerful in the area. He also is a leader on the Tarpons bowling team, touting that he’s loved that sport his whole life.
