Vandebilt Catholic High School

Something many people don’t know?

The Robison family is not originally from Houma. Andrew’s father, Drew Robison, located his family here when he took the head boys’ basketball position at Vandebilt Catholic.

Strengths?

Andrew is a stellar, all-around athlete. On the basketball floor, he has a quick shooting release and elite handles. On the football field, he is a terror to opposing defenses. He has the ability to beat opponents with both his arm and legs. He’s also a good leader in the huddle.

What does his coach say?

“I think to be a great quarterback, you have to have the ability to do a lot of things well. Andrew has all of that. He has the skill, but he also has the work ethic and the determination. He works really hard and wants it.”

Credentials:

It’s not a coincidence that Andrew Robison is always on our Houma Times Top 5 Plays of the Week. The kid just has a rare ability to make special things happen when he’s on the field. A dual-threat option in the Terriers’ offense, Robison is one of the leaders in the team’s 3-1 start to the season. In basketball, he’s just as good and was one of Vandebilt’s top players last season as a freshman.
