Rayghan is the starting point guard for the Terrebonne High School girls basketball team. She is a multi-year letter winner for the Lady Tigers, and is one of the leaders of the team.
STRENGTHS:
Rayghan is quick and shifty, owning the ability to slash through defenses. When by the basket, she also can finish in traffic. If opponents sag off her, Rayghan is capable of consistently making an outside shot if given the opportunity.
BEST THING ABOUT BEING A LADY TIGER:
“Competing against so many really good teams, and making friends with my teammates and also other players who are on the other teams in our district.”
HOBBIES:
When not on the basketball hardwood, Rayghan enjoys hanging out with her friends and family. She enjoys listening to music and also staying in the gym to keep up with her basketball game so that she can compete to the best of her ability.
CREDENTIALS:
Terrebonne High School point guard Rayghan James is the epitome of a senior leader on the floor for the Lady Tigers. Despite standing just 5-feet, 2-inches, Rayghan is one of the top performers for the Lady Tigers – a player who often competes favorably against opponents several inches taller. Off the floor, Rayghan said she enjoys being a teenager.
