Name:

Thomas Rousse

Height:

6’1″

School:

I attend South Lafourche High School

Grade:

I’m a senior. I graduate in May.

Position:

I play all over the floor for my team. I’m sometimes inside and sometimes outside. I’m a forward for our team.

Strengths:

Good shooting ability for a forward. Also excellent on defense, leading South Lafourche in charges taken on the young season.

Goals for 2015-16:

We really struggled last year, so our goal is to get ourselves back to the playoffs. We know that we have the talent to compete every time we play in a game this season.

High point so far of the season:

Thomas scored more than 20 points this past weekend at the Terrebonne High School Basketball Tournament against Berwick. He drained five 3-pointers in the game, leading all players in scoring.

What do his teammates say?

“He’s a good all-around player. We can count on him to do just about anything we need on the floor in any game.”

-Shak Dillon

Credentials:

South Lafourche senior standout Thomas Rousse can drain the 3-ball. He also is a whiz at taking charges and rebounding the basketball. He’s not a bad passer, either in the Tarpons’ motion-based system. Get the drift? He’s just a good, all-around talent. Rousse is one of the senior leaders on a Tarpons club armed with experience. When not on the floor, Thomas likes to hang out with his friends and do “typical high school student stuff.”
