Sports played: Jayden is a member of Terrebonne Parish Recreation. He was a member of that organization’s U8 All-Stars team, which won the Biddy International Tournament this past spring. He’s also a member of the South Lafourche Flash organization.
Favorite basketball team: Cleveland Cavs

Why?
I like the way he plays. He’s my dad’s favorite player, and I always was a fan because of that. I like the way that he plays on the court.
What would you like to be when you grow up?
I want to be a basketball player.
Hobbies: Playing with my big brother and my cousins.
Did you know?
Jayden is the nephew of local professional basketball player Sumar Leslie. He’s also the nephew of Cal State Fullerton point guard Lionheart Leslie.
Credentials: Houma native Jayden Coleman will be in the headlines a lot for the next decade. The Terrebonne Parish Recreation All-Star is a standout guard, despite only being in the second grade. He is also born to the sister of local pro Sumar Leslie, so basketball is in his DNA. Jayden is a model student at Mulberry Elementary School, and he said that his favorite times are when his family is at his house and he can play with his cousins from Baton Rouge.
