Shakerrin Dillon

PREP BASKETBALL-FORWARD/WING SENIOR

NAME Shakerrin Dillon

Height: 6’1″

Weight: 170

School: I attend South Lafourche High School

Grade: I’m a senior. I’ll be heading to college this fall.

Position: play wide receiver for our football team and then also guard and forward for our basketball team.

Strengths: Good hands, good athleticism, jumping ability

Goals for 2015-16: Well, for football, we wanted to make it to the Dome, but we couldn’t make that happen. So now, my attention is on basketball and trying to get our team back into the playoffs. We’d really like to do that in my senior season.

High point so far of the season: Shakerrin Dillon committed two weeks ago to Coffeyville Community College. He will be a receiver for the JUCO, which is one of the top schools of its kind in the country.

What do his teammates say? “Shak is like my brother. He’s a great athlete, and he’s going to do really good things no matter where he goes or what he does. He’s a very good athlete.”

-Harvey Allen

Credentials: South Lafourche senior guard/forward Shakerrin Dillon is one heck of a player – in any given sport. Dillon is a starter for both the Tarpons football and basketball teams, a standout at both. In football, Dillon is signed to play collegiately at Coffeyville Community College in Kansas. On the basketball floor, Dillon is a starter on a Tarpons team looking to have a winning campaign in Class 4A.
