SPORTS PLAYED:

Trastasia is the starting point guard for the Ellender girls’ basketball team, which just won the Class 4A State Championship. She is a decorated player who has been dynamite on the hardwood for many years. As a Biddy Basketball player, Trastasia was a member of a Terrebonne Parish Recreation team that won the Biddy International Championship.


STRENGTHS:

Trastasia is a fierce defender who plays with relentless energy throughout the game. She penetrates the lane with ease and has the ability to both score and also dish to teammates for easy opportunities.

HOBBIES:


Listening to music, working out in the gym with my friends and teammates and finding ways to stay sharp.

Ellender Memorial standout guard Trastasia Hester is one of the best in the area at what she does: creating havoc for opposing basketball teams. Hester has started since her freshman season for the Lady Patriots – fresh off a decorated career at the Biddy Basketball level. As a sophomore, she helped lead Ellender to the Class 4A State Championship.
