SENIOR • FOOTBALL • SOUTH LAFOURCHE

NAME:

Terry Hunter

HEIGHT:

6’1”

WEIGHT:

190 pounds

GRADE:

Junior, soon to be senior

SCHOOL:

South Lafourche High School

SPORTS PLAYED:

Terry is one of the top returning players in the 2017 season. He is a multi-year starter at outside linebacker for South Lafourche – one of the best pass rushers in the Houma-Thibodaux area.

STATS:

Terry led South Lafourche in sacks last season, and was always around the football in some capacity. This season, he will be a defensive end/outside linebacker and he will also play some middle linebacker. Terry is also working on his ball handling in hopes of earning a role as a fullback/slot back in coach Blake Forsythe’s run-heavy offensive scheme.

GOALS:

“To have as good of a senior season as we believe we’re capable of having. Making sure that we leave everything on the field on every play.”

WORKING ON:

Upper-body strength, quickness, footwork.

STRENGTHS:

Versatility, speed, physicality.

CREDENTIALS:

Terry Hunter is an awfully good football player. One of the defensive anchors on a South Lafourche High School football team that has hopes of making the State Playoffs, Hunter is one of the area’s leaders in sacks, among returnees. With a slender frame, but elite strength, Terry is able to be physical on the line of scrimmage against both running and passing plays.
