SPORTS PLAYED: Roddy is one of the most decorated players to ever play basketball at Nicholls. A former five-star recruit out of Washington D.C., Roddy signed with Maryland out of high school, then transferred to South Florida. After some injuries, he ended up at Nicholls and he is currently one of the top players in the entire Southland Conference.

STATS: Roddy is averaging 18.3 points per game for the Colonels, easily the tops among reserve players in the Southland. Roddy embraced that role of being a reserve earlier in the season.

GOALS: “To go as hard as I can every day and play every game like it’s my last.”

WORKING ON: Every aspect of my game so that I can do things to help my team win.

STRENGTHS: Versatility and scoring

CREDENTIALS: Local sports fans, go and watch Nicholls State University play basketball this season! The Colonels are first place in the Southland Conference with a senior-heavy team and Roddy Peters is one of the lead players on that team, averaging more than 18 points per game. He’s a tough guard, owning outside scoring ability and also elite post moves, which he uses to his advantage.
