Raymond “Red” Lindsey, 80, a native and resident of Houma, La., died on Thursday, January 26, 2017.

Mr. Lindsey worked offshore as a crane operator for most of his life and never missed a day of work. He loved visiting family in Arkansas and playing video poker. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, June Hebert Lindsey; children, Raymond, Wayne and Wilma Lindsey, Kathryn Bunn and Mary (Roy) Bourg; siblings, Johnnie Mae Worthy, William and Thurl Lindsey; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Interment is at Rogers Cemetery in Houma.
